Partners

VVMR has entered into the following partnerships:

• Chapudi Coal Project: This project is being developed in collaboration with Coal of Africa Limited’s (CoAL) proposed B-BBEE partners, Terracotta Processing and VVMR, as well as the local community constituents. Terracotta and VVMR each owns 30 percent of the entire issued share capital of B-BBEE, with the remaining 40 percent held by communities within the greater Soutpansberg area.
• Tshipise Energy: An equal share joint venture between CoALand B-BBEE partner, VVMR, with coal bed methane (CBM) exploration rights in three areas totaling 1,659 km2, located in the northern Soutpansberg region in Limpopo. The joint venture completed an exercise to collate desktop studies, undertaken by Australian-based Geogas (Pty) Ltd, on the CBM potential of these properties. The evaluation excluded any shale gas potential and also omitted Areas one and three.
• Bono Lithihi:VVMR is a 19 percent shareholder of the Bono Lithihi Investments Group (Pty) Ltd.
